Surprise Party Turned College Party

I was invited to a surprise birthday party at a place, I didn't know even existed. A friend of a friend was having a party for her dad and we did a stop by because we were headed to a concert. And I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised. Now I have lived in The Bronx my whole life and I am half and half about this revitalization. Yes, we did need it, but not to be priced out. Of course the story of NYC, but back to Posted Up in The Bronx. I attended the party, and yes it was nice.

I wanted to have a "Get To Steppin" party for my daughter. She was leaving for college and I needed to have a place to gather with friends and family to see her off. She didn't want a party, but I knew I could win her over once we went to Posted Up. We immediately agreed and that one decision made the rest a breeze. We cooked as normal, I come from a family of feeders. The eclectic space is filled with great energy. The ambiance is industrial elegant if that is a thing. It feels like a big living room. Once you go in, you immediately think of how you can use it for an event.

Don't believe me, go there, from the lighting to the spaciousness, you will be happy you did.
